I am Vladimir Shirogorov, a scholar and writer. I have books and essays in Russian and English, most well-known of them are following:
•The Last Tsardom. It is the novel on the final years of the reign of Ivan IV and the reign of his successors to the first years of the Time of Trouble. It has three parts, I. The Will of the Thunderous Angel; II. Tsarina Ksenia; III. The Son of Doom; published in Moscow by Molodaya Gvardiya in 1999 and 2011 [in Russian]
•Ukrainian War. The Armed Conflict over Eastern Europe in the Sixteenth – Seventeenth Centuries. It is an academic study that includes three volumes, V. 1. The Melee of Rus’; V. 2, Turkish Onslaught: Balkans – Black Sea – Caucasus; V. 3. Head-to-head Offensive: Baltics – Lithuania – Steppes, published in Moscow by Molodaya Gvardiya in 2017, 2018 and 2019 [in Russian]
•War on the Eve of Nations. Conflicts and Militaries in Eastern Europe, 1450–1500. It is an academic study published by: Lanham, Boulder, New York and London: Lexington Books, 2021 [in English]
